Ladies and gentlemen
Here I would like to talk about healthy daily living. There are many ways of having healthy living, such as doing exercise, regulating diet, taking rest, drinking enough and avoiding smoking (Andika, 2007).
The first way is doing exercise. Good exercise is needed by our body to get healthy. Not more and not less. Exercising regularly makes our body strong, healthy, and slim. The exercise can stimulate nutrition and burn fat, so our body will be healthy and slim. We can choose many kinds of easy sport to do, for examples jogging, cycling, and football etc. There is a simple way to do, get up 15 to 30 minutes earlier than the rest of the family and use this time for running, walking, and stretching and yoga. (Barbara, 2007)
The second way is regulating diet. Regulating diet needed by our body. In our life, we usually eat two or three times every day, and we eat big portion. It is not good for healthy body. Watch portion size, your craving will likely be satisfied after you have finish a small order of fries, and you will save over 100 calories when compared with the super sized order.(Barbara, 2007). So, we have to change of our eating habit. Do not eat big portion but we have to eat small portion size four or six times every day. Regulating diet is not enough for our body but we have to consume healthy eating, for examples fruit, vegetable, and cereal. The way can help us still full and avoid temptation to eat some snacks.
The third way is taking rest. Taking rest needed our body to return the normal condition. The good rest is sleep. Sleeping around 4 – 6 hours every day is more enough. There are many tips for sleeping such as:
1. Do not sleep on full condition
2. Sleeping in silent room.
3. Stretching before go to sleep.
4. Praying.
The fourth way is drinking enough. The main element in our body is water. Every day our body is lose water because it is out from skin, lungs, and kidney. For changing it, we have to drink water so much. We should drink water about 8 glasses every day for avoiding tired, headache, skin rough, and bad mood, etc.(Siswono,2002)
The last way is avoiding smoking. Smoking is very dangerous for the body. There are many diseases caused by smoking habit. One of them is cancer. Cancer is the most death full disease in the world. ( Majalah cosmopolitan, 2008). So, try to avoid it!
So, ladies and gentlemen, there are many ways of having healthy living Such as doing exercise, taking rest, drinking enough and avoiding smoking.
